The Community Gospel Choir
presents
Gospel Concert 2009

In honor of Black History Month, the Community Gospel Choir will be
performing a free gospel concert, "Precious in His Sight," at 5 p.m
on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Chevalier Theatre in Medford Square.
The Community Gospel Choir is a volunteer choir made up of several
churches and community members of varying ages and backgrounds.
Stacie J. Clayton, Choral Director at the Somerville Community
Baptist Church, is the director.
Concert performers will include:
- Shiloh Baptist Youth Choir of West Medford
- Singer/performer Ron Murphy (www.ronmurphylive.com)
- Highrock Covenant Preschool Choir of Arlington Heights
- Fellowship Church of God Choir of Jamaica Plain.
A live band and other instrumentalists will accompany the choir.
Boston Herald columnist Joe Fitzgerald will be the master of ceremonies.
Sponsors include the Medford Arts Council, Medford Mayor Michael
McGlynn, Somerville Mayor Joseph Curtatone, Middlesex Federal
Savings Bank, and the host church, Somerville Community Baptist Church.
